Privacy policy

1. Data controller

2. What is collected and why

This site collects personal data only when you type it into the enquiry form: your name and email address and, if you choose to provide them, your company, phone number, approximate budget, selected services and your message.

Alongside that, the technical minimum needed to protect the form from abuse is stored: a truncated cryptographic hash of your IP address, your browser string, the referring page and the page the enquiry was sent from. The IP address itself is not stored.

3. Legal basis

Form data is processed to take steps at your request prior to entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR), and on the legitimate interest of answering a business enquiry and protecting the form from automated abuse (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

4. Cookies and measurement

This site sets no advertising or profiling cookies, uses no Google Analytics and no social media pixels, and shares nothing with advertisers. That is also why there is no cookie consent banner — there is nothing to consent to.

Basic visit statistics and page speed are measured with Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights. Both work without cookies and without a persistent identifier: the page, a country-level location, device type and browser are recorded in aggregate, in a form that cannot identify you or follow you over time or across other sites.

5. Where the data is stored

Submitted enquiries are stored in a PostgreSQL database (Supabase) in a data centre inside the European Union. The site is served by Vercel Inc. as a processor (including Web Analytics and Speed Insights). When email notification is enabled, Resend is used for delivery. All of these providers process the data on our instruction and under appropriate contractual safeguards.

6. Retention

An enquiry that does not lead to an engagement is deleted no later than 24 months after the last communication. Where an enquiry becomes a contract, data is retained for as long as tax and accounting law requires.

7. Your rights

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. Send your request to info@faitech.hr and it will be answered within 30 days. You may also lodge a complaint with the Croatian Personal Data Protection Agency (AZOP), Selska cesta 136, 10000 Zagreb.

8. Changes

This policy changes when the way the site works changes. The date of the last revision is shown at the top of this page.
