About

One person, the whole chain.

From the data model and the backend to the copy in the app store — with no handing blame between vendors.

FAITECH is a registered Croatian sole proprietorship for IT services and systems development, based in Čakovec and entered in the national Crafts Register. Behind it is one person — Ivan Muktić, a computer engineer who has been building mobile apps for more than four years.

That experience is not confined to one domain. I have worked on a legal education app with video content and certification, on an iPad app for medical staff at a medical-device manufacturer, and on women's health tracking apps connected to their own Bluetooth hardware. Each of them passed store review and reached real users.

I founded the business to do that same work directly, with no agency between me and the client. What that buys is concrete: one counterpart, one person answerable for both the architecture and the copy in the app store, and nothing lost in translation.

Today FAITECH runs in three directions at once: commissioned client projects, own products that demonstrate how I work, and tooling that makes the work itself faster. Healthness, Šape, eRačun Semafor and WATdesign are not portfolio exercises — they are products in production that I conceived, built, shipped and maintain.

Why FAITECH

Six things that never change

You talk to the engineer who writes the code

No project manager relaying messages, no team that changes mid-project. What we agree on Monday is written by the same person on Tuesday.

Products you can open right now

Healthness is on the App Store, Šape runs in production, eRačun Semafor and WATdesign are publicly available. The portfolio is not mock-ups — it is things that run.

Fixed price and a written scope

Before we start you know what you get, by when and for how much. If the scope changes, it changes in writing and in advance — never at the bottom of an invoice.

The code and the access are yours

The repository, the domain, the database and the hosting accounts are in your name. If someone else continues tomorrow, everything is handed over without negotiation.

Speed is a requirement, not luck

Pages are measured on a slow network and a weak phone, because that is where your customers are. A 4,620-item catalogue loads its home page with about 26 kB of imagery.

Security goes into the database

Data isolation is enforced by Postgres, not by application code that can be bypassed. Keys stay on the server, never in the browser.

How I work

Five steps, no surprises

The same procedure for a six-week app and a six-month system. The difference is the scope, not whether you know where you stand.

  1. 01

    The call

    30 min · free

Thirty minutes, free and with no obligation. You say what you need and what hurts; I say whether it is feasible, roughly how big it is, and whether there is a cheaper way to solve the same thing. If I think you do not need software, you will hear that too.

  2. 02

    A fixed-scope proposal

    2 — 4 days

You get a written scope: what is in the first version, what is deliberately left for the second, the schedule and the price. The price is fixed per phase, so there is no bill that grows while the project runs.

  3. 03

    Weekly delivery

    weekly cycle

A test environment exists from week one and you can open it whenever you like. Every week you see progress in a running version, not in a screenshot. Changes of direction are cheapest exactly then.

  4. 04

    Release

    1 — 2 weeks

Submission to the App Store and Google Play, or going live on your own domain. I also handle store review, privacy policy, security headers and analytics. Accounts and access are in your name from the start.

  5. 05

    Maintenance and growth

    monthly

After release the app does not freeze: platform updates, new features, crash monitoring and a monthly report. No annual lock-in — we keep going while it makes sense.

Technology

The tool is chosen for the problem

None of this is an end in itself. Everything below runs in production in one of the products listed on this page.

I normally reply the same working day. The first call takes thirty minutes, costs nothing and commits you to nothing.
