Optimus Transfer

Optimus, an accounting practice in Osijek, spent every month retyping client invoices from PDF into Synesis by hand. Now the PDFs go into a program and EN16931 XML comes out — with no internet, no subscription and no per-invoice cost.

How I work

Five steps, no surprises

The same procedure for a six-week app and a six-month system. The difference is the scope, not whether you know where you stand.

  1. 01

    The call

    30 min · free

Thirty minutes, free and with no obligation. You say what you need and what hurts; I say whether it is feasible, roughly how big it is, and whether there is a cheaper way to solve the same thing. If I think you do not need software, you will hear that too.

  2. 02

    A fixed-scope proposal

    2 — 4 days

You get a written scope: what is in the first version, what is deliberately left for the second, the schedule and the price. The price is fixed per phase, so there is no bill that grows while the project runs.

  3. 03

    Weekly delivery

    weekly cycle

A test environment exists from week one and you can open it whenever you like. Every week you see progress in a running version, not in a screenshot. Changes of direction are cheapest exactly then.

  4. 04

    Release

    1 — 2 weeks

Submission to the App Store and Google Play, or going live on your own domain. I also handle store review, privacy policy, security headers and analytics. Accounts and access are in your name from the start.

  5. 05

    Maintenance and growth

    monthly

After release the app does not freeze: platform updates, new features, crash monitoring and a monthly report. No annual lock-in — we keep going while it makes sense.

Why FAITECH

Six things that never change

You talk to the engineer who writes the code

No project manager relaying messages, no team that changes mid-project. What we agree on Monday is written by the same person on Tuesday.

Products you can open right now

Healthness is on the App Store, Šape runs in production, eRačun Semafor and WATdesign are publicly available. The portfolio is not mock-ups — it is things that run.

Fixed price and a written scope

Before we start you know what you get, by when and for how much. If the scope changes, it changes in writing and in advance — never at the bottom of an invoice.

The code and the access are yours

The repository, the domain, the database and the hosting accounts are in your name. If someone else continues tomorrow, everything is handed over without negotiation.

Speed is a requirement, not luck

Pages are measured on a slow network and a weak phone, because that is where your customers are. A 4,620-item catalogue loads its home page with about 26 kB of imagery.

Security goes into the database

Data isolation is enforced by Postgres, not by application code that can be bypassed. Keys stay on the server, never in the browser.

Technology

The tool is chosen for the problem

None of this is an end in itself. Everything below runs in production in one of the products listed on this page.

About

One person, the whole chain

My name is Ivan Muktić. I have been building mobile apps for more than four years, working on products in legal education, medical equipment, women's health and fitness — apps that passed store review and ended up in the hands of real users.

I founded FAITECH to do that same work directly: no agency between me and the client, no manager relaying messages, no team that changes mid-project. What we agree on Monday is written by the same person on Tuesday.

Healthness, Šape, eRačun Semafor and WATdesign are not exercises — they are products I conceived, built, shipped and maintain myself, from the data model and the backend to the copy in the app store. That same chain is what I put at your project's disposal.

FAQ

What people ask before the first call

What does it cost to build an app?

Three things set the price: how many flows the app must support, whether it needs a backend and billing, and how many platforms it ships on. That is why there is no meaningless number on this page — after a free thirty-minute call you get a written proposal with a fixed price per phase and a schedule. If the budget is smaller than the project requires, I will say so immediately and propose a smaller first version.

Do you work with clients outside Croatia?

Yes. The work is fully remote-capable, in Croatian or English, with weekly deliveries and a live test environment you can open at any moment. The business is registered in Čakovec, and in-person meetings are possible in the Međimurje region and nearby.

You work alone — what if something happens to you?

That is exactly why the repository, the domain, the database and the hosting accounts are in your name from day one, and why the project carries documentation another developer can continue from. One person gives you speed and directness, but it must not create dependency — and it does not.

Can you add AI to an app we already have?

Yes, and it is a frequent request. The first step is finding where AI genuinely shortens work — document and photo analysis, support, search over your own content — and then building that feature with quotas, cost metering and server-side keys.

Who owns the code?

You do. Code is written into your repository and all access is transferred at the end of the project. There is no licence on my code and no monthly fee required for your app to keep running.

Do you invoice, and do you work under contract?

FAITECH is a registered Croatian sole proprietorship entered in the national Crafts Register, with the tax and registration numbers shown in the footer of this page. Every engagement runs under a contract or an accepted written proposal, with a proper invoice.

How quickly can you start?

A call is usually possible within two working days, and a proposal two to four days after it. When the build itself can start depends on the current schedule, and you will hear that on the call as a date rather than a promise.

Do you do design, or do I need my own designer?

I do design as well — app interfaces, visual identity and print material. If you already have a designer or a finished Figma file, I build from it without rearranging anything.

Contact

Tell me what you are building — I reply today.

I normally reply the same working day. The first call takes thirty minutes, costs nothing and commits you to nothing.
